Buriram United will be without South Korea midfielder Go Seul-ki for the opening of the new season because of injury.
Former Ulsan Hyundai player sustained muscle strain injury in the match against Cambodia All-Star last Saturday and will need about a month to recover.
As a result, he will miss up to five matches of Buriram, including AFC Champions League clash against FC Seoul.
Meanwhile, Chitipat Thanklang and Narubadin Weerawatnodom also face a long spell on the sideline with injuries they suffered in the match at Phnom Penh.
Chitipat damaged his soft tissue while Narubadin has fractured his scaphoid bone.
Buriram United will have two more friendly matches before taking on SCG Muangthong United in Kor Royal Cup on February 20.
