Former Arsenal striker Gervinho has joined newly-promoted Chines Super League side Hebei China Fortune from Roma.
The reported £12million deal for the Ivory Coast international was confirmed on Tuesday.
He will partner Brazilian forward Edu, formerly of Schalke and Besiktas, in attack for Hebei.
The 28-year-old joined moved to the Gunners from Lille in 2011.
He only scored nine goals in 46 Premier League matches before Arsene Wenger decided to cut his losses and sold him to Roma for £6m.
Reports had suggested that Gervinho, who has appeared in the last two World Cups, was on the verge of signing for Hebei’s Spuer League rivals Jiangsu Suning.
The financial package was not believed to have been as attractive, and he completed his move earlier today.
After being unveiled at the club’s training ground, Gervinho said: “The Hebei stadium is very beautiful, very close to the sea.”
