Former Becamex Binh Duong striker Marko Simic is on trial with Boeung Ket Angkor and expected to play in Cambodian League this season.
Former Croatia U21 striker has been training with the Mekong Club Championship runners-up for a week and received praises from coach Prak Sovannara. Boeung Ket Angkor and Simic are in talks about personal terms before signing a contract.
Last season, Simic played 6 matches for V-League champions Becamex Binh Duong and scored 4 times.
Meanwwhile, the Nigerian striker Samuel Ajayi, who was linked with a move to Sukhothai F.C, has accepted to continue playing in Cambodia by extending his contract with Boeung Ket Angkor for a further year.
Boeung Ket Angkor will start their 2016 Cambodian League campaign by hosting Asia Europe United.
