The international right-back has officially joined Thai powerhouse Muangthong United before transfer window slams shut.
Do was born in France, and is eligible to play for France, Thailand, and Vietnam. He chose to play for Thailand, the country of his father’s birth.
A production of the French football youth system, he graduated at Strasbourg before plying his trade with various clubs such as Lorient and Ajaccio. He joined BEC Tero Sasana in 2014, playing alongside other highly-rated Thai youngsters Peerapat Notchaiya, Tanaboon Kesarat and Chanathip Songkrasin, helping the team finish third in the 2014 Thai Premier League.
On international level, Do was a part of Thailand U23’s squad in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, where the team won gold medal. He was also called up to the national team for the first time in 2015, playing a friendly match against Afghanistan and a World Cup qualifier match against Iraq.
Muangthong United has been very active in the transfer market this year. The club landed Peerapat Notchaiya, Tanaboon Kesarat and Chanathip Songkrasin from BEC Tero Sasana on loan deals, and also defender Fabricio and attaker Adisak Kraisorn on pernament deals.
