Santos has agreed a loan offer from Beijing Guoan for the former Milan striker. He will earn a salary of €150,000 a week, according to sources.
The striker is the lastest star to join Chinese Super League, with the Brazilian stars Ramires and Alex Teixeira and Colombian forward Jackson Martinez also opting to make a move to China.
Once a hot prospect of Brazilian football, Ricardo Oliveira joined Spanish club Valencia in 2003. Only one year later, he joined Real Betis and spent two seasons playing for Los Verdiblanco before moving to Italy and joined AC Milan as a replacement for the Ukrainian striker Andriy Shevchenko.
However, after scoring just 3 league goals in the 2006-07 season for Milan, he went back to Spain and playing for Real Zaragoza and then Betis until 2009, where he joined Emirati sides Al Jazira and Al Wasl.
The striker returned to his home country in 2015, scoring 20 goals in 32 league matches. His impressive form earned him a call-up from Brazil national team head coach Carlos Dunga in September 2015.
