The coach’s agent has sent a letter to Kelantan honorary president to offer his service, according to sources.
However, the club’s decision on the manager position will not be made until the honorary president, Datuk Seri Dr Hasmiza Othman returns from an upcoming Europe trip.
“There may be an application but I have not seen it yet. We will have to wait because I will be going to Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United on March 14 to learn a few things for the sake of the Kelantan football team,” Datuk Seri Vida told local newspaper.
Kelantan has struggled in the Malaysian Super League this season, winning only one in four opening matches. They were also knocked out of the Malaysia FA cup after losing on penalties to Kedah.
The team’s poor form has put pressure on manager K. Devan, who was only appointed in last December.
Kelantan has won the league title twice in 2011 and 2012, however they only finished 6th and 9th in the last two seasons, respectively.
The highly respected Radojko Avramovic won three AFF Championship titles during his nine-year tenure at Singapore national football team. He also lead Myanmar to their first Philippines Peace Cup.
