The 17-year-old winger Faiq Bolkiah is moving to the Premier League leaders after two years at Stamford Bridge.
Bolkiah confirmed the move on Instagram and posted an image of him meeting Leicester’s billionaire Thai owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
He wrote: “Happy to announce I have signed a long term contract at Leicester would like to thank all my family an close friends for all the support.
“Was also a pleasure meeting the owner himself. Can’t wait to get started.”
Bolkiah joined Chelsea in January 2014 but is leaving at the end of his two-year scholarship despite being a regular for the club’s Under-18 side.
