Paul Mulders retired from Philippines national team

Manager Dan Palami confirmed that has retired from the Philippines national team. The 35 year-old midfielder received his first call-up to the national team in 2011, and had played 36 matches, scoring 2 goals for the Azkals.

Paul Mulders is the third player to retire from the Philippines national team in 2016. Previously, Rob Gier and Jerry Lucena had already announced their retirement.

The Azkals will play two World Cup qualification matches against Uzbekistan on March 24 and North Korea on March 29.
