The Ivorian star’s agent Dimitry Seluk said that his client will never go to China, and claimed that he had turned down a £20 million offer from Jiangsu Suning in the winter transfer windows.
Seluk told The Sun newspaper that the former Barcelona player is asking for a new three-year deal from Manchester City, and if the club fails to meet his demands, he will leave at the end of the season. However, he won’t make the move to China.
“We don’t want to go there, and we never go to China. Yaya does not think about money, he thinks about football. He wants to finish at the highest level”, Dimitry Seluk insisted.
“We rejected a huge offer from a Chinese club, the one who bought Ramires, for much higher money than Ramires. If he liked it he would go to China immediately”, the agent told The Sun.
It was reported that Yaya Toure would leave Manchester City at the end of the season, before incoming manager Pep Guardiola taking charge at the club. The Spanish coach already sold him once when both of them was at Barcelona.
