The Chinese Super League outfit has offered the Swedish striker a staggering 75 million euro-a-year deal, which would make him by far the highest-earning footballer in the world.
Ibrahimovic will be out of contract at the end of the season, and has yet to commit his future with Paris Saint-Germain. A number of big clubs in the Europe such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in his service.
However, the former Barcelona player hasn’t ruled out a move to China, and if the rumors are true, it isn’t hard to see why.
The mega-money salary compares to about five times what the Swedish striker is earning at PSG, and about three times the salary of the current highest-earning footballer – Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
Ibrahimovic’s agent hasn’t confirmed nor denied the rumor, however AC Milan chairman Silvio Berlusconi did say it was true.
“Ibrahimovic will receive offer from a big money club in China or in the Middle East, and Milan certainly can’t compete with them”, the former Premier Minister of Italy told local newspaper.
