Sources reported that FC Tokyo has decided to terminate Spanish striker Francisco Sandaza’s contract. The former Rangers FC made just nine league appearances for the Japanese side, failing to score any goal.
It is also reported that the club has signed Brazilian striker Muriqui to replace Sandaza. The 29 year old players had stints with Guangzhou Evergrande and Al Sadd, and is notable for his scoring ability in Asian leagues.
FC Tokyo has had an indifferent start to the 2016 season, sitting ninth in the table with just 6 points from 4 matches.
