Japan midfielder Hotaru Yamaguchi suffers injury in final match of Japan in 2018 World Cup qualifier second round against Syria last night.
The incident happened in the 55 minutes when Yamaguchi crashed with Syrian player in the air. Immediately, Hannover 96’s midfielder was is carried away on a stretcher and could not continue the game.
According to the doctor’s diagnosis, he suffered from nasal bone fracture and orbital floor. It is not clear that how long he will be sidelined.
