Royals’ stopper, Ali Al-Habsi, has been voted by fans as the Be Wiser Player of the Month for March. The goalkeeper has been in great form in recent weeks and, as a result, has now won back-to-back player of the month awards for the Royals.

He was Readng’s outstanding performer when the Royals met Crystal Palace in the quarter Final of the FA Cup, making a number of spectacular saves and putting in a man of the match performance.

The keeper denied Yohan Cabaye twice as the Frenchman tried to convert free kicks in the first and second half, with a couple of acrobatic diving saves. The pick of the bunch however was a quite incredible one-handed save to keep out Mile Jedinak’s effort, after the midfielder connected with a powerful header towards the top right corner, but Al-Habsi clawed it off his line and behind.
