Guangzhou Evergrande’s midfielder Paulinho is being linked to AC Milan according to Italian sources.
Now at Guangzhou Evergrande, the 27-year-old is tempted by a return to Europe, and he has been offered to the Rossoneri by intermediaries.
The Brazilian international’s arrival in London was considered to be quite the transfer coup by many experts, as he was seen as one of South America’s most promising exports.
AS Roma were particularly keen to sign him, but may have thanked their lucky stars, as the 27-year-old has since failed to make much of an impression in London (despite some flashes of promise) and has moved to Guangzhou Evergrande.
The good news is that AC Milan can land him at a discount, for something in region of €8 or 9 million.
