Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong (China) will take part in a friendly tournament hosted by Myanmar in June.
According to the tournament regulations, the four teams will play in a knock-out format. The winners in each match will advance to the final, while the defeated sides will play a third-place match.
In the knock-out stage and the third-place match, the teams will go straight to a penalty shootout after 90 minutes’ play has been completed if they are tied on score. In the final match, the two teams will play normal extra time before go to a penalty shoot-out.
Vietnam will face Hong Kong in the knockout stage, while host Myanmar will play against Singapore.
Vietnam is scheduled to play a friendly match against Syria at home on 31 May, before travelling to Myanmar to participate in said tournament.
