Thailand were drawn into a difficult group at the last round of 2018 World Cup qualification, facing powerhouses Australia and Japan along with Saudi Arabia, Iraq and UAE.
Coach Kiatisuk admitted that his team is facing some of the strongest opponents, however he was confident that Thailand will come big against them, especially at home.
“No matter who are the competitors, this round should be the tough task since we are the lowest ranking team here. But I am confident that we also have something because we are able to reach this stage”, the former striker said.
“We will do our best. One of our strength is the home game. With the great supporters, we are ready to surprise all of the top teams”, he told local newspaper.
