As revealed earlier this month, a number of Premier League clubs are tracking Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors midfielder Lee and Everton and Watford are leading the chase for the player.
Lee is regarded as one of the best young players in South Korea and has established himself as a key member the South Korea national team.
Scouts from Everton and Watford are understood to have watched Lee in action in recent weeks as they continue to keep tabs on his progress.
Everton and Watford are both looking to add to their attacking options this summer and Lee’s skills and commericial opportunities in Asia make him an attractive proposition to his Premier League suitors.
A number of Bundesliga and Ligue 1 sides are also interested in Lee’s signature, but Everton and Watford are ready to battle to try to lure him to England this summer.
