Junior Urso to leave Shandong Luneng to return to Brazil

midfielder has agreed to join Brazilian Serie A outfit Atletico Mineiro on loan. The Brazilian club also has an option to buy him permanently at around $1 million.

The Brazilian player has also expressed his interest in signing a long-term contract with Atletico Mineiro, and it is likely that he will join the Belo Horizonte side once his contract with Shandong Luneng expired, if the club didn’t want to buy him.

Junior Urso joined Shandong Luneng from Coritiba in 2014, scoring 13 league goals in 58 appearances for the Chinese club, helping them finish fourth and third in the domestic league in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
