Former Persik Kediri midfielder Mekan Nasyrow has joined Semen Padang on trial, according to local newspapers.
It is reported that club’s coaching staff are impressed with Nasyrow’s skill, however they still want to monitor him closely to see how good his physical condition is.
“He has some really good skills, but we don’t know anything about his condition. That’s why we’ll try to focus on physical training, to see how good he is right now”, Semen Padang manager Nil Maizar said of the Turkmenistan international player.
“We have Mekan on trial because he’s an all-around player. He can play in midfield as well as a full-back”, the manager told local media.
