Chainat Hornbill FC of Thai League made the official appointment of the club head coach, Koichi Sugiyama.
Just three days without a job after departing with BBCU, the 44-year-old Japanese coach Sugiyama has become the head coach of Chainat Hornbill. The club aims to finish above the middle of the table in the next 27 games of 2016 season under Sugiyama’s coaching.
Sugiyama, former Urawa Red defender, and Albirex Niigata Singapore head coach was sacked by BBCU on the same day that Chainat dislodged their former head coach Issara Sritaro. He will start his job on 29th April and made his managerial debut in the match against Pattaya at home on 1st May.
