Australian midfielder Tom Rogic is a summer transfer target for English Premier League giants Arsenal, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
The 23-year-old has been in good form for Celtic in the Scottish Premier League this season and has played an important role in the club’s title winning campaign.
His consistent performances have led to interest from Arsenal, as he was recommended to Arsene Wenger by Reading boss Brian McDermott when the latter worked for the London’s club as a scout.
Arsenal are one of the frontrunners in the chase for Rogic but they are yet to make any formal enquiries, however they are not alone as a number of Italian and Spanish teams are also interested in him.
Rogic joined Celtic from A-League side Central Coast Mariners in January 2013 and thus far has made 52 appearances for the Bhoys. He still has a contract until the end of next season with the club.
