Former Monaco coach Franck Dumas keen on coaching role in Thailand

After seeing the atmosphere of Thai football in the match of Bangkok United vs Nakhon Ratchasima at Thammasat Stadium, the 48-years-old French man, Franck Dumas is looking for the fresh challenge in the football in this country. He would like to coach a club in Thailand if he could get the chance.

“I have been pleasantly surprised by the football level in Thailand.” said 1998 UEFA Champions League Semi-finalist to ThaiGoals.

“There is a mixture of Thai and foreign coaches and players and it’s good that foreign coaches can have the chance to help improve the level.”

“I would love the opportunity to work here and share my knowledge. I first went abroad as a coach in Morocco and it was a great experience. I’m eager to work somewhere new again and Asia holds great appeal.”

Franck Dumas, French, had played at the top level of European football in 1987 – 2004. He played in the most talented Monaco squad along with Thierry Henry, David Trezeguet, Lilian Thuram etc. He was the head coach of SM Caen in , Arles-Avignon and lately MAS Fez in Morocco.
