Football Association of Thailand has announced the 23-man squad of the national team for the 44th King’s Cup
Thai League and Division 1 top players are called to the squad for the royal tournament. Most of them are the regular members of the national team. Thai League leaders Muangthong United have the most players in the squad with 10 names feature in the list.
Bodin Phala (21 years old) and Suphan Thongsong (21 years old) from Bangkok Glass and Muangthong United are surprise call-ups. With the outstanding performance in the domestic league, both of them could make debut for Changsuek in the 2016 edition of King’s Cup.
Thailand will face Syria in the semi-finals on June 3 before playing the final or third place playoff on June 5 at Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand.
