Iranian international midfielder Ali Karimi is on the verge of signing for Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Sepahan in 2012 and won the Persian Gulf Pro League with Isfahan-based team in the 2014–15 season.
Karimi has already worked with Croatian coaches Zlatko Kranjcar and Igor Stimac in Sepahan.
He will join Croatian First Football League title-holder, according to Sepahan coach Abdollah Veisi.
“Karimi has a clause in his contract which let him to leave Sepahan. He is one of our best players but he will leave us to join Dinamo Zagreb,” Veisi told Iran’s state-run TV.
Karimi is a member of Iran U-23 team.
