Thai Premier League outfit BEC Tero Sasana is set to sign Japanese midfielder Takahiro Kawamura, an official from the club confirmed.
“The deal with Kawamura is about 80% done, we are sorting out minor details”, the club official told local newspapers.
Along with the signing of Kawamura, BEC Tero Sasana also planned to loan promising midfielder Chainat Buran from Muangthong United until the end of the season.
Previously, Kawamura had stints with various clubs in Japan and Argentina such as Jubilo Iwata, River Plate and Tokyo Verdy, before making the move to Thailand in 2010, joining Police United.
He joined TOT S.C. in 2011, making 89 league appearances across five seasons, scoring 11 goals.
