grabbed a big win after beating Osotsapa 8-3 at home while Bangkok United won 4-2 as they defeated Sukhothai FC in the mid-week round of Toyota Thai League.

Bangkok United recorded a 4-2 victory over Sukhothai FC, maintaining the second place on the league table.
The newly promoted Sukhothai FC faced a difficult task away at a high-flying Bangkok United. The visitors, however, appeared buoyant, with Diouf Bireme opening score in the 2nd minute.
The game was exciting as both teams performed well, having chances to net more goals but it was Bangkok who managed to equal. Sansern slotted home in the 13th minute before the first half ended 1-1.
The second half was still a joy to watch. Sanwach scored a superb goal to help Bangkok take the lead in the 51st minute.
However, the visitors equalized with a powerful shot from Renan Marques in the 67th minute.
Bangkok took the lead again when Dragan Boskovic successfully converted a penalty in the 72nd minute before Sumanya put the fourth goal past Sukhothai in the last minute of the game.Muangthong

Muangthong United ran riot at Osotsapa to hand the visitors the worst Toyota Thai League defeat ever.
Osotspa’s Sompong made it 1-0 for visitors before the floodgates opened after three minutes of the first half.
Muangthong obviously dominated the game and it was Cleiton Silva who scored two consecutive goals – an equaliser in the 17th minute, and then a goal to take the lead in the 26th minute.
Muangthong did not stop there and scored another goal just two minutes later when Adisak successfully converted a penalty kick, scoring the third goal for the home side, before Teerasil making it 4-1 at the end of the first half.
In the second half, two goals in two minutes from Cleiton and Teerasil embarrassed the visitors, and Cleiton again made it 7-1 in the 71st minute  before Peerapat scored the 8th goal for Muangthong ten minutes later.
However, Osotsapa kept fighting and scored two goals in five minutes before the game finished with 8-3 in favour of the home team.
With this win, Tawan Sripan’s players maintain their top spot, with a two-point gap between them and Bangkok United.
