Ghana midfielder Michael Essien, is rumoured with a move away to the Chinese Super League.
Essien, 31, currently plays for Panathinaikos in the Greece League after unsuccessful stint with AC Milan in the Italian Serie A.
The former Chelsea hard tackling midfielder has received several offers from Chinese Club who are willing to sign him from his current Club Panathinikos.
Panathinikos are reportedly considering the sale of their highest paid who they deem surplus to requirement after a shoddy first season plagued by injuries.
The former Real Madrid loanee will be joining compatriot, Asamoah Gyan who plays Shanghai SIPG should the deal be sealed.
