Chinese Super League outfit Shandong Luneng is interested in making a bid for former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie, according to reports.
The Dutch player left Manchester United to join Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce last season. Despite scoring 22 goals in 48 matches for the club, it is reported that Van Persie has fallen out of favour with manager Vitor Pereira and is looking for a move.
Sources claimed that Van Persie is keen on playing in China, but Shanghai Luneng is yet to make an official bid for the Dutch international player.
Van Persie is valued at €12 million by Fenerbahce, and whether Fenerbahce is willing to take a cut-price deal remains to be seen.
