Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande is considering making a bid for Spanish international striker Alvaro Negredo, sources revealed.
According to local newspapers, Guangzhou Evergrande will make attempts to sings two Valencia players: Argentine midfielder Enzo Perez and Negredo.
Valencia is reportedly willing to sell the two players, but Guangzhou Evergrande might have trouble negotiating with Negredo, as the former Manchester City isn’t interested in making a move to China and has already turned down a big money offer from Jiangsu Suning.
Negredo had short stints with Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Almeria before joining Sevilla in 2009. Four years later, he joined English Premier League outfit Manchester City and helped them to win the league title as well as the League Cup.
However, he returned to Spain just one year later, joining Valencia on loan. The club made his deal permanent in 2015.
