Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas has expressed interest in signing Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan, sources revealed.
The Super Lig champion is reportedly in the transfer market to seek a potential replacement for German striker Mario Gomez, who is expected to return to Fiorentina when his loan deal with Besiktas expired.
Recently, the club has been linked with various star striker, including Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko and Fernando Llorente. However, according to local newspapers, former Sunderland attacker Asamoah Gyan has emerged as their top target.
The Ghanaian striker had stints with Udinese, Rennes and Sunderland before joining Shanghai SIPG in 2015.
