Former Chelsea midfielder Ramires has been seen attempting to attack a referee in China.
In a brawl erupted following his team’s 2-1 defeat against Shandong Luneng, Ramires was dismissed. He reacted with fury to the referee’s decision, running toward the official before being held back by his team-mates.
According to local newspapers, the Brazilian midfielder could face disciplinary action for the incident.
Ramires has just joined Jiangsu Suning at the start of the 2016 season for a then-record fee of £25 million. The former Benfica player has become a key contributor for Jiangsu Suning and has scored 4 league goals in 16 appearances.
