Colombian striker Jackson Martinez may leave Guangzhou Evergrande to join Inter Milan in the Summer transfer windows, according to local newspapers.
The former FC Porto player has just joined Guangzhou Evergrande at the start of the 2016 season from Spanish club Atletico Madrid for a then-record transfer fee of €42 million. He has failed to impress in the Chinese Super League, scoring three league goals in just five appearances.
According to reports, Italian club Inter Milan is considering making a bid for Jackson Martinez as a potential replacement for the outgoing Mauro Icardi. However, sources close to the player said Martinez is not desperate for a move at the moment, as he wanted to stay in China.
