Chinese Super League outfit Jiangsu Suning announced that South Korean international player Hong Jeong-ho has joined the team from FC Augsburg, signing an undisclosed contract.
Hong made his name at Jeju United, where he played nearly 60 league matches over three seasons. He joined German Bundesliga outfit FC Augsburg in 2013 and was a regular starter for the club.
Hong also represented South Korea on international level, participating in the 2011 AFC Cup – where the Taegeuk Warriors reached semi-finals, and also the 2014 World Cup.
The South Korean defender will wear number 20 at his new club.
