Brazilian striker Alan Kardec has agreed to sign a contract with Chinese Super League outfit Chongqing Lifan, according to reports.
The former Benfica player is expected to boost Chongqing Lifan attacking abilities and help them to improve upon their 12th position in the league table.
Alan Kardec had stints with a host of Brazilian and European clubs, including Vasco da Gama, Benfica and Santos. Currently, he’s playing for Sao Paulo, where he has scored 15 goals in 47 league appearances.
The player has also represented Brazil on youth level, but hasn’t been called up to the senior team yet.
