Brazilian striker Edu has rejoined South Korean club Jeonbuk Hyundai after spending a year playing for Chinese Super League outfit Hebei China Fortune.
Previously, Edu had a short spell with Jeonbuk Hyundai in 2015, where he scored 11 league goals in 20 matches. The prolific striker then joined Hebei China Fortune in the same year.
Although he impressed in the Chinese Super Leauge with 12 league goals in 15 appearances, Hebei China Fortune decided against keeping him at the club.
Before making his name in Asia, Edu had spells with various German club, including Schalke 04, where he won the DFB-Pokal Cup and DFL-Supercup in 2011. He also won the Korean league title as well as the domestic cup with Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
