Indonesia Football Federation (PSSI) general secretary Azwan Karim has revealed that the national team is in talk to play two friendly matches against Vietnam ahead of the 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup.
“We have been in talk with Vietnam. They offer us to play two matches, one at home and one away. However, we haven’t decided on the dates yet”, Azwan Karim told local newspapers.
At the 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup, Indonesia was drawn into group A, along with defending champions Thailand, four-time champions Singapore, and co-hosts Philippines.
Meanwhile, Vietnam will play against Malaysia, Myanmar and the winner of the qualification stage in group B.
