Indonesian footballer Irfan Bachdim has said in an interview with local newspapers that he will try to play at his best at the 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup, after missing on the 2014 edition of the tournament due to injuries.
The Consadole Sapporo attacker was registered to play for Indonesia two years ago, but an injury forced him out of the competition at the last minute.
At the moment, Irfan Bachdim said his fitness is at the top level, and he looked forward to playing in this year’s AFF Suzuki Cup.
“I’m confident that I can play my best games at the tournament if I make it to the final squad, now that I’m at my top fitness”, the Consadole Sapporo footballer said.
“The problem is that I don’t often train with my Indonesian team-mate since I have to train with my club in Japan. But the coach will make decisions, and obviously, I’ll play at my best if selected”.
