Spanish striker Xisco has expressed his satisfaction following an after-extra-time victory against Krabi in the Toyota League Cup quarter-finals.
Muangthong United was held to a 1-1 draw by Krabi for the 90 minutes of regular time, however a goal scored by Cleiton Silva in the extra time period helped them to advance to the semi-finals.
“I’m very happy because the team won, as expected. The victory is important for us, and I hope there will be more victories from now on. I have received support from our fans every day, and I hope we can reward fans with goals in every match”, the Spanish attacker said in a post-match interview.
Xisco joined Muangthong United from Cordoba in 2016, but the former Newcastle United striker hasn’t scored for his new team yet.
