Australian defender Diogo Ferreira has signed a four-month contract with Indonesian Persib Bandung, official sources confirmed.
Diogo Ferreira had short stints with Australian clubs Perth Glory and Brisbane Roar before making the move to Indonesia. He also represented Australia at U-23 level.
An official from Persib Bandung confirmed that Diogo Ferreira arrived in Indonesia on August 23, before completing a medical check on the same day. He has trained with the club’s first team on August 25.
The official also revealed that the defender’s contract with the club had the option to signed him permanently.
