Sarawak player suspended for 6 months for attacking referee

defender has been suspended for six months, the Football Association of (FAM) confirmed.

Mohd Mokhtar Hairol was also fined RM 2.000 for his unacceptable behaviour, according to FAM.

The fine came as a result of an incident where the former Malaysian international player attacked the referee during a heated match between Sarawak and Kedah in the Malaysian Cup.

In addition, FAM also suspended Negeri Sembilan defender Daniel Sang Ting for four matches for attacking opponent players.
