Boeung Ket Angkor striker Chan Vathanaka has been won the 2016 Cambodian League’s Golden Boot award, finishing the season with 22 goals.
This is the second time in a row Chan Vathanaka won the league’s top scorer award. The prolific midfielder scored an incredible 37 goals last season, 13 goals more than joint second-placed George Bisan and Shane Booysen.
National Defense Ministry’s North Korean star Choe Myong-ho came in the second place with 19 goals, while Cambodian Tiger’s Tomoki Muramatsu finishing third with 15 goals.
The 2016 Cambodian League has come to a dramatic ending, with Boeung Ket Angkor winning the title by just one point ahead of rivals National Defense Ministry.
