Former Morocco U23 team captain set to play for Indonesia in 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup

Former Morocco U23 team captain Driss Fettouhi is expected to play for in the upcoming 2016 , according to reports.

However, the 26-year-old midfielder will have his passport checked by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) before he can make his debut for the Garuda.

Driss Fettouhi was born in Casablanca, Morocco on September 30, 1990. He was the captain of Morocco U23 team since 2011, and was a part of the team playing in the London 2012 Summer Olympics.

On club level, he had stints with French clubs Le Havre and Istres, before joining Emirati side Ajman in 2012/13 season. He is currently plying his trade at Qatari club Al Kharaitiyat.

Driss Fettouhi is eligible to play for Indonesia through his father.
