Filipino international footballer Angel Guirado has joined Gibraltarian side Lincoln Red Imps F.C. and will play for the club in the second stage of the 2016 season.
The Spain-born attacker represented the Philippines at international tournaments from 2011 to 2013, helping the Azkals to reach semi-finals stage of the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup. He scored 8 goals in 30 appearances for the Philippines.
On club level, Angel Guirado had short stints with various Asian and European clubs, most recently at Udon Thani F.C.
Lincoln Red Imps F.C. is one of the major clubs in Gibraltar, arguably best known for recording a historic 1-0 win against Scottish Premiership champions Celtic in the UEFA Champions League qualifying stage earlier this year.
