Indonesia might take part in a friendly match with Canada, according to reports.
Initially, South Korea had proposed to play a match with Canada in November. However, due to a schedule change, the South Korea Football Association (KFA) decided to cancel the match and offer Indonesia as a replacement to play against Canada.
Indonesia is already scheduled to play two friendly matches against Vietnam in October and November, and it is very likely that the team will play another match ahead of the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup.
However, an official from the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) said there is no agreement between Indonesia and Canada at the moment.
“Canada hasn’t sent us any proposal yet. However, we can confirm that South Korea has offered us to play a friendly match with Canada”.
“We will discuss the schedule later”, the official said.
