Thai League outfit Ratchaburi is close to signing Armenian attacker Edgar Manucharyan from Russian side Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast, according to reports.
The 29-year-old playmaker, who has represented Armenia since 2004, will arrive in Thailand in November to sign an official contract with Ratchaburi, sources revealed.
Manucharyan has long been considered as one of the best footballers in Armenia. A production of the famed Ajax youth system, he had short stints with several European clubs before joining Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast in 2012, where he has made more than 70 league appearances.
He also represented Armenia on international level, scoring 9 goals in 50 appearances.
