Thai League outfit Chiangrai United is expected to complete a deal for defensive midfielder Tanaboon Kesarat from Muangthong United, sources revealed.
According to several reports, Chiangrai United has agreed to spend a record-breaking 53 million Baht ($1.5 million) to secure the midfielder’s service.
If true, it would make him the most expensive footballer in Thai League history.
Chiangrai has also signed Sivakorn Tiatrakul from BEC Tero Sasana for 12-15 million Baht ($350,000 – $430,000). The attacker confirmed his move in a recent interview with local newspapers.
