J2 League side Consadole Sapporo is considering making a loan bid for Muangthong United footballer Chanathip Songkrasin, according to sources.
Consadole Sapporo is expected to secure a promotion to the top-flight J1 League after a relatively successful season which saw them sitting on the top of the table with 81 points from 40 matches. As a result, the club has begun to look for potential transfer deal to bolster their squad.
According to reports, the Japanese club is looking to sign Chanathip Songkrasin on a one-year loan contract. If the deal goes through, the Thai attacker will have an opportunity to play alongside former Japan national footballer Junichi Inamoto and Shinji Ono.
Chanathip Songkrasin has long been considered one of the brightest prospect in Thai League. The 23-year-old attacker joined Muangthong United from BEC Tero Sasana at the start of the 2016 season.
