Cambodian youngster Chan Vathanaka claimed that “several Thai clubs” are interested in signing him in a recent interview with Football Channel Thailand.
The 22-year-old footballer just had a relatively successful AFF Suzuki Cup campaign with Cambodia, which saw him scoring two goals to help the Kouprey Blue qualify for the semi-finals.
“I’m not sure about my future. Certainly, I want to play abroad, which would help me gaining experience”, the Boeung Ket Angkor attacker said.
“Sure, there are many Thai clubs who are interested in signing me, but I won’t tell any name”, Chan Vathanaka said.
The Cambodian youngster had scored 22 goals in the domestic league last season.
