Tampines Rovers midfielder Hafiz Sujad will arrive in Thailand this week in order to go on trials with Thai club Sisaket FC and Big Bang Chula United, according to reports.
Hafiz Sujad joined Tampines Rovers in early 2016. The 26-year-old midfielder played 20 matches and scored two goals to help the club finished second in the domestic league.
Sujad has also represented Singapore on international level, playing more than 30 matches for the Lions.
The midfielder has signed a contract extension with Tampines Rovers recently. Despite this, the club will allow him to go on trials with the two Thai clubs.
“As a club, we have supported the professional advancement of our players,” said Tampines chairman Krishna Ramachandra in a statement.
“So although we have just signed Hafiz for another year, this is an important break for him and we all hope he gets an offer.”
